Rolling class starts with warm up and stretching. A review of the bow rescue and wet exits is followed by J-Leans and High Braces moves that contain important components of the roll. Essential Strokes and Rescues

This is an introductory course to basic coastal kayaking skills and safety. Class begins with a 1 hour presentation on land. The balance of the course is held on the water where each student is coached through the proper technique for wet exit and strokes. Most importantly, this class is held in a protected area so that wind and wave action do not interfere with learning good paddling skills. Boat Control & Rolling Primer

This class is designed for paddlers who wish to enhance their paddling skills. The class begins with a quick review and a warm up paddle to assess everyone's skill level. Emphasis is on proper execution of basic strokes and incorporating the J-Lean. We then introduce a series of maneuvers which incorporate a series of basic strokes and J-Leans into the execution of smooth maneuvers.
